The AntiTwink Glammy Campaign
Via La Daily Musto, it's Aaron Cobbett's new group shot of this year's Glammy winners. Lots of familiar faces here, which is to be expected of the Glammys: Alien Nation, Lee Chappell and his Drip crew, Holly Daggars and Scotty Rox, Matthew Camp, Peppermint, Erika Toure Aviance, Ladyfag, Acid Betty, the Kiki Twins, Michael Musto himself and Johnny Dynell.
We get that there's always a lot of drama surrounding the Glammys. Queens get all in a tizzy when they don't win and shade gets thrown. Yeah, you could ask what gives certain queens the authority to nominate people and hand out awards. But we actually like the fact that the Glammys aren't beholden to advertisers like the HX Awards were. (Come on! Like that was a big secret!) And awards shows are just fun!
Which brings us to our point: We'd like to officially kick off our campaign for a 2010 Glammy award! Honestly we don't really care what category we're nominated in. Best Website? Best Blog? Best Writers? Whatever, doesn't matter.
