some kids grow up before your very eyes. When I met Pony a few years ago, he was a gogo boy for me at a certain brooklyn venue,and since then he has gone from gogo boy to bartender to promoter to party host to DJ. and I couldn't be more proud.

Peter Pony Clement is a fixture in the NYC downtown nightlife and art scene as a DJ, songwriter, promoter, dancer, and performance artist. Born in Italy in 1986, he came to the city at age 17 to study design at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where he was nicknamed "Pony" and quickly became involved in parties, as a DJ, dancer, and promoter.
Since then he has been involved in an eclectic range of party circles, and has been nominated for four nightlife awards. In 2008 he was named one of HX Magazine's "Top 9 people in nightlife under the age of 25 to watch in 2009", and was named one of Paper Magazine's "Beautiful People of 2009."
Drawing from a diverse range of musical and visual art influences, Pony combines a passion for music with a dynamic personality. He currently lives in Brooklyn, DJ's at several NYC venues, writes the column "Free Sex" for Antitwink.com, and is working on his first EP of original music with Whatever/Whatever producers Bryan Mette and Justin Strauss.
