Oh No! Rue McClanahan Died!

And so, the celebrity death trifecta is complete. Gary Coleman. Dennis Hopper. And today, Rue McClanahan joins Estelle Getty and Bea Arthur on that great lanai in the sky. From People Magazine:
"'She passed away at 1 a.m. this morning,' her manager, Barbara Lawrence,
tells PEOPLE. 'She had a massive stroke.'
McClanahan, who played man-happy Blanche Devereaux on the
still-popular '80s sitcom Golden Girls, had suffered a minor
stroke earlier this year while recovering from bypass surgery. Lawrence
adds that at the time of her death Thursday, McClanahan 'had her family
with her. She went in peace.'"
So. That leaves Betty White as the last surviving Golden Girl. Kinda makes you wonder, given her sudden career vitality, if White isn't, like, bathing in the blood of her fallen sisters or something. We can just imagine her sitting in a darkened room cackling, "Last man standing, bitches!" and sucking the marrow from the bones of newborn babies.
Nah, just kiddin'. We're sure she's a sweet old lady and we totes want her to host the Oscars and whatever else Neil Patrick Harris doesn't have time for.
Thank you for being a friend Ruesie!
