New Obsession: Abandoned Theme Parks!
We're totally into io9.com's recent obsession with abandoned theme parks! We know it sounds weird, but bear with us. This is some creepy shit! Last week the site brought us deliciously eerie photos of Michigan's Prehistoric Forest, an abandoned dinosaur amusement park. But the images of Berlin's Spreepark blow those crappy dinosaur statues out of the stagnant, weed-choked water! It's kinda like in Return to Oz, how everything is grey and all the magic has been sucked out of everything, all magically post-apocalyptic. We want to go to there. And have a picnic!
