Kathy Griffin's Latest Bout with Scandal
Kathy Griffin never ceases to amaze us with her ability to attract—no, let's be honest—her ability to stir up scandal. What sort of trouble has the D-List diva gotten herself into this week? Well, the ladies of The View were none too impressed with a recent Washington episode of My Life on the D-List. And Barney Frank seems to have insinuated that Kathy is a pill popper. The comedienne chatted with NewYorkMag.com's Daily Intel about all of the above and more in an interview posted on the blog today:
On Elisabeth Hasslebeck: "I would say she's one click away from being the D-List Ann Coulter. My guess is that that's who she aspires to be."
On the Barney Frand and the pill-popping rumor: "My D.C. insider friends warned me: He's really just a cantankerous old dude...This was so funny to me because I just live for rumors like this...So to have a congressman suggest that I'm popping pills — I mean, is he kidding me? That is a dream come true."
On Levi Johnston: "I guess if Levi comes back to me I will take him back, because who knows, I could still be, through Sarah Palin...one click away from living in the White House."
