Amanda Lepore's "Marilyn" Is Here!
The video for Amanda Lepore's new single, "Marilyn," premieres today. The video—more of a short film really—was directed by Leo Herrera and features Amanda's long-time collaborator Cazwell, with music by Risqué. An elaborate, spooky intro sequence featuring imagery suggestive of photos of Marilyn Monroes's death sets up the electro-pop-laden track. Amanda—done up in Marilyn drag—pops pills and knocks back champagne, writhing inside a rubber body bag and nearly naked on a hotel bed as Cazwell raps while oggling an all-male three-way. And the song is pretty effin' fierce as well! Check it out.
